janusSEAL for Outlook allows organisations to extend the features of janusSEAL to suit their business. janusSEAL for Outlook can be customised by Extensions which allow organisations to control what happens before and when security classified messages are sent from Microsoft Outlook.

For IN-CONFIDENCE messages along with a list of email domains reachable at the IN-CONFIDENCE (or above) level can warn the sender before sending a message which will be insecurely transmitted, e.g. IN-CONFIDENCE message to an Internet receipient For PROTECTED messages along with a list of email domains reachable at the PROTECTED level can prevent the sender from sending the message to recipients not in the PROTECTED level list and give the sender the option of automatically removing the offending addresses, e.g. PROTECTED message to an Internet recipient |
| Filing | For messages of certain security classifications, request or force the sender to file the sent message in the organisation's Document Management System (DMS). At the time of sending, the sender must specify where to file the message in the DMS; once the message is sent it, or a copy, is filed away automatically based on the sender's selection. |
